Peppery balsamic tuna
RECIPE

PEPPERY BALSAMIC TUNA

Peppery tuna is one of the simplest yet most delicious meals you can make with a few ingredients, tuna, and kampot pepper.

This is the best when you’re craving something quick, wholesome, and delicious.

Serves about 4 pax.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/3 Cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/3 Cup olive oil
  • 1/4 Cup flat-leaf parsley, chopped
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp Black Kampot Pepper, cracked or ground
  • 4 tuna steaks

METHOD

Mix together vinegar, olive oil, parsley, Kampot pepper, and garlic.

Marinate tuna steaks in the vinegar mixture for at least an hour.

Grill or pan fry in a little olive oil to the desired doneness

VEGETARIAN KAMPOT CHILLI

A lovely dish to enjoy with your whanau.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 bell peppers, chopped
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 1 can pinto or white beans
  • 1 can chopped tomatoes
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1-3 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground Kampot pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 Tbspn olive oil

METHOD

Cook onions, garlic and bell pepper in olive oil until soft.

Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 30 minutes.

Spoon into bowls and garnish with cheese or avocado.
